I wrote this song after I purchased a new Korg MS-20 and Roland Tr-808 from reverb.com. After I plugged the synths in the song just came out of me and I finished the song from conception to completion in one day. Something I am very proud of. Oh and fun fact. My 6 year old daughter wrote the 808 beat in the beginning of the song.

Artwork: The artwork was made by one of my favorite local artist, Angela McHugh. She made a series of prints that I fell in love with and knew instantly that I wanted to make an album cover with them. I shared my excitement with her and then she made my day/night/week/month by bringing me a hard copy of the art piece to my first Fires of Denmark show.

This art piece lives on my studio desk and when I wrote a song called “Ready for Sleep” I had the perfect picture. I am hoping to use the rest of the series as the songs come out.
